VPVM Large-Area Vent

The large-area vent is an end element for air distribution in air-conditioned and ventilated spaces. Air is brought in at low speed near the floor and removes pollution from the occupancy area to the below ceiling area.

Displacement Airflow
Low-velocity supply at floor level. Uses natural convection to lift heat/pollutants upward.
For High-Load Spaces
Ideal for rooms with high heat loads or dangerous air pollution requiring excellent air quality.
Three Mounting Designs
K: Round, free-standing. S: Wall-mounted (semi-circle). R: Corner-mounted (quarter-circle).
Low ΔT Cooling
Supply air must be only 1–3°C colder than room air for stable, draft-free stratification.
High-Capacity
Handles very large airflow volumes from 500 to 8,100 m³/h for spacious industrial/commercial areas.

Available diameters: 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1480 mm. Types: K (Round), S (Wall), R (Corner).

Airflow Range

Very high capacity: 500 to 8,100 m³/h.

Material & Finish

Constructed from steel sheet. Standard finish is white baking varnish (RAL 9010).

Connection

Duct connects vertically from above to a round socket on the vent. Optional control flap available.

Operating Limits

For indoor spaces (Class 3K5). Supply air temperature: -20°C to +70°C. Clean air systems only.

Installation & Control

Mounting by Type

VPVM-K: Anchored to floor in free space.
VPVM-S/R: Anchored to floor or wall (in corner).

Duct Connection

Supply duct connects from above to the integrated round connection socket.

Flow Regulation

An optional control flap can be included to regulate the incoming air volume.

Critical Requirement

Supply air must be 1–3°C cooler than room air for proper displacement airflow.
