DDM II Long-Reach Nozzle

DDM II Long-Reach Nozzle

A high-velocity air terminal device designed for projecting conditioned air over long distances in large spaces. Its spherical nozzle allows for manual or automatic adjustment of the airflow direction to target specific zones.

Product Description

Key Features & Benefits

  • Long-Distance Throw

Engineered for high-velocity air projection to deliver conditioned air across large halls and auditoriums.

  • Directional Air Targeting

Spherical nozzle can be adjusted to aim airflow precisely, allowing spot conditioning of specific areas.

  • Multiple Control Versions

Fixed (P), Manual (N), or Motorized (S) actuation for automated, BMS-integrated control (±25° adjustment).

  • Wide Temperature Range

For both heating (ΔT ≤ +25K) and cooling (ΔT ≤ -14K) applications with significant temperature differences.

  • For Large-Volume Spaces

Ideal for spaces where air needs to travel far from the discharge point to reach the occupied zone.

Technical Specifications

Nozzle Diameters

Available in standard duct diameters: 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 315, 400 mm.

Airflow Range

Broad capacity from 40 to 2,400 m³/h, selectable based on diameter and application.

Adjustment & Actuation

DDM/P: Fixed.
DDM II/N: Manual, multi-directional.
DDM II/S: Motorized, single-axis (±25°).

Electrical Actuator Options

.45: 230V with position control.
.55: 24V with position control.
.57: 24V SR with continuous control.

Construction & Finish

Nozzle: Aluminum, spherical. Body/Housing: Galvanized steel. Standard white RAL 9010 coating.

Installation & Control

Mounting Locations

Installed into walls or ceilings, typically on the side or end of rectangular or spiral (spiro) ducts.

Fixing Method

Fixed and manual versions have pre-drilled mounting holes. Motorized versions have an extended housing for the actuator.

Aiming & Adjustment

Manual (N): Adjust spherical nozzle on-site to desired angle in any direction.
Motorized (S): Set via actuator for single-axis movement.

Actuator Caution

Motorized actuators have colored end-stop marks. Warranty is void if these marks are damaged, indicating over-rotation.
