SMR Duct Silencer

SMR Duct Silencer

Silencers are straight round sound absorbers used in ventilation systems to reduce noise transmission through ducts. They are installed between the noise source and the protected room.

Product Description

Key Features & Benefits

  • Effective Noise Reduction

Reduces airborne noise from fans and airflow for quieter rooms.

  • Two Insulation Options

50mm for standard use or 100mm for high-performance silencing.

  • Easy SPIRO Connection

Simple integration into round SPIRO duct systems with blade seal.

  • Durable Build

Galvanized steel casing with mineral wool insulation for long life.

  • Multiple Standard Lengths

Available from 300mm to 1500mm to suit space and acoustic needs.

  • High Flow Capacity

Rated for air speeds up to 12 m/s and 1500 Pa pressure.

Installation & Use

Connection Method

For Ø ≤315mm: Fixed reducer. For Ø >315mm: NSL clutch. Both connect to SPIRO ducts.

Optimal Placement

Install between the noise source (fan/AHU) and the protected room/space.

Handling Care

Protect from moisture and physical damage. Do not compress the insulation.

Airflow Direction

Can be installed in any orientation. No directional restriction.
